From Hands to Hearts
Robert Crawford, contemporary jazz/gospel pianist, Born March 18, 1962 in Arkansas, started his music career playing trumpet in his jr. high school band. He decided to switch to piano after seeing his older brother David playing it. In 1993 Robert started touring with Gerald Levert, he also played for Gerald’s father Eddie of the O’Jays during that same year.
Robert’s first jazz project From Hands To Hearts can be found on CD Baby or I Tunes. His second project, Almost Home is now available on any of the digital outlets ,such as Distrokid, Amazon, I tunes, Spotify and Pandora Music to name a few. His most recent project, Don’t Stop, has the single “Just For Me” that landed on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Most Added chart.
Robert And his wife, Elizabeth reside in Cleveland Ohio and have four children. Robert is the Minister Of Music at Central Bible Baptist Church Baptist Church. Robert also currently plays with national recording artist, saxophonist Russell Thompson. Robert is the musical director of Russell’s band. Robert will be releasing a new single in June, 2023.
